From 2013 to 2019, Mr. Wu worked at the Institute of Oceanography of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and was responsible for the overall operation of the Discovery ROV for many years. He has participated in and completed more than ten voyage missions such as the Strategic Pilot Project of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the sea trial of the special R&D equipment, and the hydrothermal geological survey of the 973, etc. He has completed 207 underwater dives of the underwater cable submersible, and obtained a large number of underwater high-definition video data and sensor data.
2019-2021 Mr. Wu worked in a domestic underwater robotics company, participate in a large number of ROV engineering business services, and complete the positioning and navigation, inertial guidance, 3D laser, 3D sonar and other underwater survey equipment integration work.

From 2010-2018, Jackie worked for COSL Fugro, with 5 years of experience in offshore operation and 3 years of experience in land equipment preparation and equipment maintenance. He often works with foreign ROV supervisors and offshore oil related personnel at sea, and has rich experience in ROV offshore operations, and rich experience in ultra-deepwater operations. During this period, he also led the technical guidance for maintenance of electrical equipment and operational tools for all ROV systems in the workshop.
2018-2020 Jackie worked in an oil and gas and offshore engineering equipment company, responsible for project programme design and system integration and application management of ROV and underwater communication systems.
