SoundSurface is a portable, compact and ruggedised sound velocity sensor that collects highly accurate, high-resolution sound velocity data in real time for depth correction for single-beam sounders, beam angle correction for multibeam sounders and more.

SoundSurface uses Time-of-Flight technology to provide survey-grade sound velocity data, with a pressure-resistant depth of 50 metres in the standard version and up to 11,000 metres in the deep-sea version. SoundSurface uses a corrosion-resistant, pressure-resistant and easy-to-clean housing, and a streamlined structural design that allows for flexible integration into a wide range of platforms, including submarines, AUVs, and ROVs to meet mission-specific requirements.
